Domaine Bruno Colin 2023

Domaine Bruno Colin is one of very few new domaines whose 2023s we have taken. When the opportunity arose to buy these wines, we jumped at the chance. The wines at this domaine are increasingly compelling. As Allen Meadows says,“Colin has been on a roll over the last few vintages…. I was seriously impressed by the overall quality of his 2023s.”  These wines come highly recommended: by us as well as by Burghound.

Domaine Bruno Colin is located in Chassagne-Montrachet. It was established in 2004 when the Colin-Deleger estate, belonging to Bruno’s father, was split between two brothers. Bruno owns just under nine hectares, yet vinifies 19 cuvees separately. This is micro-vinification at its most intense – and it pays off. The resulting wines are precise, nuanced and disarmingly approachable. Besides the domaine’s flagship Chassagnes are several excellent Pulignys. The Bourgogne Blanc also offers superb value.
