Domaine Alvina Pernot

Domaine Alvina Pernot is a hot new producer in Puligny Montrachet.

Alvina Pernot is the grand-daughter of the highly regarded Paul Pernot. Born in the village of Puligny, she grew up helping at the family domaine with her father and uncle. In 2018, she started her own operation with her husband, Philippe Abadie. Initially working as a micro-negoce with bought-in fruit, she has achieved excellent results in a very short space of time.

The wines are made today in a brand new winery in Puligny, which opened in 2021. The combination of early picking, gentle pressing, limited batonnage and carefully managed sulphur levels gives elegant, notably mineral wines with excellent terroir expression. “Very impressive”, writes Neal Martin on Vinous, adding that the domaine “is going from strength to strength”.

2025 is a landmark vintage here. For the first time, over 90% of the wines come from domaine or family-owned parcels. With this development, the domaine looks set to continue its upward trajectory.
