Pol Roger was founded in 1849 and remains family owned. Renowned as the favourite Champagne of Winston Churchill, it occupies a special position in the UK market.
The top cuvee, Sir Winston Churchill, is named after the house’s most famous fan. It is made in the full bodied, richly flavoured style that he favoured. Pinot Noir predominates in the blend, and the grapes come from grand cru vines dating back to Churchill’s lifetime.
Pol Roger’s non-vintage Champagne is known for its iconic white foil label and is one of the best NV grand marques on the market. Pol Roger also make vintage wines in Brut, Blanc de Blancs and rose styles.
