Domaine de Triennes

Domaine de Triennes is the Provence estate set up by Aubert de Vilaine of Domaine de la Romanee Conti and Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac. The domaine is located south-east of Aix-en-Provence and is certified organic. The two famous Burgundians founded the estate in 1989 with a mutual friend. Today, Jacques’ son, Jeremy Seysses, is in charge of the estate.

Domaine de Triennes is best known for its rose made in classic Provence style. The focus has always been on freshness and delicacy of flavour. Harvesting takes places at night, to preserve aromatics. Minimal skin contact gives the beautiful pale pink hue that is a hallmark of the region. Cool fermentation and early bottling ensure maximum delicacy and expression. Cinsault predominates in the blend, with a little Grenache, Syrah and Merlot as well.
